Yesterday, I was in McKinney for an awesome photo shoot and, during my time in the area, my photographer brought to my attention a really beautiful wedding venue – The Bella Donna Chapel. The chapel is nestled in an area known as Adriatica Village, a new project in which pays homage to centuy-old villages of Europe. It is a collection of Croatian-styled villas, shops, restaurant, and, of course, the chapel. I’m telling you – it totally feels like you’ve taken a journey to Europe when you enter the village. This is a new Dallas area Wedding Venue that is definitely worth a look! The chapel, only accessible by pedestrian bridge, is surrounded by a beautiful body of water (see image below).
The venue holds up to 185 guests for a wedding ceremony, and are able to take part in some of the ancient traditions. For example, after the couple is officially “wed”, they announce their union by ringing the bell from the terrace. This truly is a chapel that links history to spirituality. My first drive past this venue yesterday definitely had me wanting to explore more, and I will be visiting the property later this week. Brides, if you are looking for a beautiful venue that reminds you of a village in Tuscany, I think you should consider this chapel! Check out their website for more photos from weddings and see the beautiful decor of the interior.
I’ll keep you updated as I find out more about the facility. Happy venue hunting!
